This Is Who He Is!

My journey has been so exciting. Well, I think so anyway, and it will only get more interesting. My name is Ronnie Clark, and I am many things, but basically a complicated human being like the rest of the humans out there. 

 

My story started in the Sunshine State, that's Florida to the unknowing and I have been all over the world enjoying my first love basketball. I was a 4-year high school varsity standout,  4-year collegiate scholarship athlete and 12-year professional.

 

After I retired from professional basketball, I moved on to a career in technology focusing on Cyber Security. My journey in Cyber Security has taken me to various different roles and has challenged me in many ways. My most challenging role yet which I currently hold is Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for a financial institution in Europe.

I am a heavy advocate for participation in team sports for youth. I believe that the core principles of discipline, confidence, teamwork, leadership, etc. that I gained from team sports are integral in my life story. These principles have helped me to succeed and to never doubt my abilities. I will discuss my views on some of these principles, cyber security, and more in this blog. I hope you all will enjoy and gain something from these posts.
